Welcome! This is the DJ Faulkner website. Here is where you can check out my blog, portfolio, store, tutorials, and other goodies. The website is set up in sections. The first being my blog, portfolio and contact information, the second being the online store, and the third is the tutorials section.
SECTION ONE - A platform dedicated to me essentially. Containing my blog, portfolio and contact information.
SECTION TWO - An online store where you can purchase digital goods like texture packs, 3D assets, etc.
SECTION THREE - An online portfolio of tutorials, files, and templates. Topics include motion graphics, visual effects, animation, photography, and 3D modeling and texturing.

ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Dylan Faulkner, although I go by DJ these days mainly because I like the way the URL looks. There's also another reason but there is no need to go into that right now. There's really not too much to tell about me, well nothing that sounds all that interesting... I like visual effects, motion graphics, animation, and anything 3D. I've done some freelance visual effects and motion graphics work but my true passion is my personal projects. Lately, I've focused on animation, in particular, real-time animation. It never ceases to amaze me how good something can look in real-time these days, my wallet is also amazed I don't need a render farm or to wait several hours on a single frame.
At the moment I'm working on an animated short rendered using the Unreal Engine. I really don't have a timeframe on this one since I'm using the animation as a way to sharpen my current skills and learn new ones. Things like 3D modeling/sculpting, texturing, animation, motion graphics, editing, etc. I'm really excited about this!
